Our Foundation is proud to have funded the recent publication of this touching picture book, by children's author Rachelle Burk, which follows a young boy after the loss of his father and his legacy as a hero through organ and tissue donation.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rachelle Burk is a writer of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for children. Her work has appeared in national publications such as Highlights for Children and Scholastic Science classroom magazines. The NJ author has traveled to 17 states to share the joy of reading and writing through dynamic school visit programs.
